April	April 30 - May 2. A Taste of Charlotte. Be sure and stop by our booth at Trade & Tryon Streets and pick up something for your four-legged member of the family! This will be our 4th year in this varied festival of food.
May	Lake Wylie, South Carolina, Bethel Animal Hospital First Annual Pet Fest, Saturday, May 22, 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm. Full for all ages! Rock Hill, South Carolina Clean Creek Festival, Saturday, May 22, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. Come join us as we educate dog owners on the pitfalls of not scooping poop and how it affects everyone's quality of life when dog poop enters out streams and lakes. Barbara will be in Cabo San Lucas and is seeking monetary and other donations to take to the Humane Society. They need everything! CLICK HERE for more information. Owner-Pup Dress-Alike Contest, Saturday, May 15 from 2 pm - 4 pm. Come celebrate May with Barbara's Canine Café. Dog moms (and dads, too) should dress yourself and your canine children in their Spring best. Best-dressed and closest-look-alike will receive prizes. As always, complimentary cake and doggie daquiries.
June	7th Annual Caribbean Capers Doggie Beach Pawty, Saturday, June 19 from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. Come celebrate Summer at Barbara's Canine Café. Dress your dog in their favorite swim attire to hang out in the pools. As always, complimentary cake, treats and doggie daquiries. Pawties are always a blast!
July	Saturday, July 24 BLESSING of the PETS at 10:00 AM Reids Market, Center City Partners and the Center City Green Market is please to announce the annual Blessing of the Animals. Barbara's Canine Café if proud to be a featured Guest at this well-attended event. Pictures from 2003 event. Located on Seventh Street between College and Brevard streets across from the Levine Museum of the New South. Free parking is available in the 7th Street Station parking deck on weekends. The Center City Green Market will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday through Sept. 25.
August	Sunday, August 1 Dog Days of Summer at Knights Castle Fort Mill, South Carolina, Exit 88 on I-77 Charlotte Knights vs. Durham Bulls Gates open at 1:00pm. Rescue set up 12:30pm. Game starts at 2:15pm. Sponsored by NOVARTIS. All rescue groups and dog related groups are welcome to set up tables. To reserve a table, contact Jay 704.357.8071, ext 2108 before Friday noon. Parade of doggies before the game. All canines welcome. Saturday, August 21 LifePointe Christian Church sponsors DOG DAYS of SUMMER at 10:00 AM - 12 noon Barbara's Canine Catering is proud to participate in and help sponsor this event to raise money to buy canine bullet-proof vests for the canines of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police K-9 Unit. October	Saturday, October 16 Humane Society of Charlotte & Mecklenburg County Animal Control sponsor BARKITECTURE at 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM Barbara's Canine Catering is proud to participate in and help local architects design dog houses to be auctioned off. The pet parade starts at 10:00 AM. Saturday, October 30 Howl-o-ween Spooktacular Costume Contest, 2 - 4 pm at the Café Guaranteed to be a scream! Complimentary Howl-o-ween treats and a prize for the spookiest pooch!

December	Saturday, December 4 from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm 7th Annual Christmas Pawty and picture taking with Santa Benefits go to Greyhound Friends of North Carolina. This is the first year that GFNC has participated in Santa Paws. Barbara's Canine Catering and GFNC raised over $350.00 at the Easter Bunny pictures. VOLUNTEERS are needed from 9:30 a.m. until event is over --- we need a Receptionist, Announcer, Photographer's assistant and two Santas (costume will be provided). Please contact GFNC and let them know what you want to do and what time you can do it.
