Our concept, though not unique, was
developed over a 2˝ year period, beginning in 1995 as were recipes,
ideas, equipment purchases, designs, etc. We have taken a
one-of-a-kind slant as a doggie-café vs. being strictly a doggie
bakery --- we are the only ones in America that I am aware of doing
it in this fashion.
We purchase equipment used whenever
possible. The used restaurant equipment market is VERY large. Start
NETWORKING in your area. Visit restaurants, auctions, new equipment
dealers, large bookstores carrying industry publications and the
Internet.
Recipes and procedures are
proprietary and have taken 2-3 years to develop; they will change
15-20 times as you develop your own products. Don't expect to get it
right after 4-5 tries. Our ingredients are on our label per
government regulations and your products must be tested, analyzed
and registered in each state they are sold in.
We're sorry we cannot divulge too
much more of our product/process specifics but after spending 10,000
hours between two persons making this business work, we're sure you
can understand why. We're happy to share general information.
