Founded in 1995 and incorporated in North Carolina on September 15, 1995, Barbara's Canine Catering, Inc. elected IRS S-corporation status a few months later.  We are a privately-held corporation.  In order to protect certain trademarks and our privacy, we do not disclose performance data without a non-disclosure / non-compete agreement from a serious investor.  Financial data is made available at the appropriate time.

We also operate as The Canine Café, Barbara's Canine Café Canine Café Charlotte, Canine Café insert-the-name-of-your-city-here, and various other d.b.a.'s.  After initial start-up losses, we have turned to successive profits and increased revenues with expansion in all four of our key business components:

• retail store (one location for both manufacture and sale)
• wholesale sales to retailers (local deliveries and nationwide shipping)
• mail order (Internet and organic growth)
• bulk & third-party-label (sales of biscuits to distributors for re-packaging under their brand of product)

At this time, we seek one or more investors to assist our expansion plans as follows:

• enlarge our Charlotte operation to include a larger, more centralized location
• expand manufacturing capability with purchases of additional equipment
• increase staff to include a professional marketing personnel and an accountant
• updated product packaging and labeling
• renewed efforts to trademark additional products, websites and trade "dress"
• heightened product recognition by increased sales in all four sales elements, above
