We try to do our part to preserve this planet's precious natural resources. It's a good thing to do, saves on space & helps keep prices down. We've even won some awards. Here's a sampling. Other awards.

Most inbound shipping containers (clean & secure only) are used as outbound shipping containers to you.	We hope you don't mind, but we think it's worth a tree. Also saves energy/electricity to manufacture a new container.
Catalogs & business cards are printed with water-based (not petroleum) inks.	Reduces petroleum use and pollution.
Peanuts used for packaging are re-used first (all types).	Reduces landfill needs.
When available, peanuts used for packing that we purchase are made from grains and are actually starch-based --- they're actually edible!	Produces no CFC's & are water soluble.
Office supplies like printer toner cartridges are returned to manufacturers for recycling.	Removes landfill waste and leaking toxins that could get into drinking water supplies.
All aluminum, glass, steel and paper used at the bakery is recycled.	Reduces landfill waste.
